Where we go on holiday is often dictated by a lot of factors. We tend to go where other people go, which means not many of us explore the World outside of our narrow parameters.

There’s so much beauty out there waiting to be discovered though, so don’t limit yourself to the usual handful of countries and destinations.

To give you a few idea, I’ve prepared this list of some of the most beautiful countries on Earth that you’ve never visited, enjoy!

  1. Norway

Some of you may have visited Norway before, but have you seen the Lofoten Islands? For me, they are the most wonderful destination the country has to offer. It gives the impression of a sleepy, relaxed group of islands, but they’re also home to a huge coral reef and all kinds of other wildlife. Being so close to the Arctic, you can also see the Northern Lights or climb some of it’s stunning hills. You’ll never need to leave the islands!

  1. Iran

This won’t be the trip for everyone, and there’s a reason a lot of people haven’t visited Iran before. The Iranian government is strictly religious which means women have to wear headscarves in public. However, you shouldn’t rule it out completely. It’s history can be seen on every street, and you’ll have a cultural experience like no other. The city of Persepolis offers you a glimpse into the country’s Persian past and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  1. Vietnam

Vietnam is a fascinating country; not that long ago it was ravaged by the American Army and now seems a buoyant country, moving forward at a fast pace. The change can be most clearly seen in the bigger cities, where skyscrapers and modern technology are on display everywhere. The countryside is still beautiful and largely untouched though. Make sure you don’t miss out on visiting all the countries temples and pagodas. And then by night you can explore Hanoi’s bars and restaurants.

  1. Costa Rica

The Central American countries are becoming increasingly popular with European tourists and it’s not hard to see why. Costa Rica has one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the entire planet. That’s quite something for such a small nation. You don’t have to explore the rainforest to have a good time though. Visit www.costaricaluxurybeachvillas.com/ to see what kind of beach vacations you can find in the country. Costa Rican beaches are almost as stunning as their wildlife!

  1. Tibet

To this day, Tibet suffers as a result of Chinese occupation. Because of this, many people don’t think that it’d be a good place to travel to, but that’s not necessarily true. Many people, including the Dalai Lama, have urged people to visit the country as well as supporting the cause for the freedom of Tibet. And regardless of the political situation, Tibet is one of the most beautiful regions in the World. As well as the incredible monasteries, the landscape is perfect for trekking enthusiasts.

  1. Senegal

Many African countries are quite unstable and sometimes dangerous; that’s why a lot of people don’t consider visiting. But Senegal is one of the most stable and safe countries on the entire continent, so you shouldn’t rule it out. There are stunning beaches, wonderful colonial architecture and plenty of luscious national parks!
